Chamber of Commerce & tourism websites ยท Nationwide

Put your community first. Leave complicated website systems behind.

A custom public-facing website for chambers, visitor bureaus, destination organizations, and community groups, built to help people discover local businesses and places.

Think Digital TX is developing a standalone community website platform with approachable content management, independent software choices, and live Zoom training. We work remotely with organizations throughout the United States.

What the public website does

Help residents, members, and visitors find what matters.

Your public website should represent the area well and make useful information simple to find. We build on the core directory and community-content model developed for ComfortInTexas.com.

01 / DISCOVER

Local business & place directory

Organized listings for businesses, attractions, public places, and community resources, with useful descriptions and structured information.

02 / LEARN

Individual listing pages

Give each place room for details, location information, and content that helps visitors make informed decisions.

03 / EXPLORE

Tourism & community information

Present what makes your area distinctive: dining, shopping, services, local organizations, and visitor information.

Event calendars, more advanced staff permissions, and administrative messaging are planned extensions of the platform, not features represented as finished today.

Simple day-to-day management

If you can post on Facebook, you can learn to add website content.

Chamber staff and volunteers shouldn't have to become web developers just to update a listing or add community information. We're designing routine publishing to be straightforward for people who already use familiar online tools.

Instead of sending a developer every small text or photo change, your team can learn the basics of maintaining content directly.

Personalized Zoom training

We can show your employees how to operate the website using live remote sessions, regardless of their state or region.

  • Walk through common content tasks
  • Practice adding and editing listings
  • Answer staff questions in real time
  • Discuss administrative roles and future needs

Training and available administrative features are defined for each project.

Your website should not dictate your back office

A standalone website. Your choice of member, CRM, and accounting software.

All-in-one membership platforms can be useful, but they may also bundle website functions and administrative tools your organization doesn't need. We offer a modular alternative: a public website built for your community, with separate software selected according to your own operations.

Custom public website

Directory, place pages, community information, and your organization's public identity.

Your preferred business tools

CRM, dues management, email, and accounting, selected independently as needed.

Keep what works

Already comfortable with your accounting or member records? You may not need to change them just to build a better website.

Get software advice

We can help compare practical CRM, membership, and billing options against your staff's workflows and budget.

Avoid unnecessary bundling

QuickBooks can support accounting and invoicing; a dedicated CRM can handle relationships. You decide what combination is worthwhile.

QuickBooks is accounting software, not a full membership CRM. Automatic synchronization between the website and outside services is not included by default; imports or integrations can be scoped separately.

Developing platform

An evolving platform, built on a real community directory.

ComfortInTexas.com is the development foundation. We distinguish the directory features already in place from capabilities that are still on the roadmap, and we confirm the scope of each client project before making commitments.

Existing foundation

Directory & place pages

Structured place information, descriptions, and location details as the building blocks of a useful local guide.

Design priority

Approachable content editing

A straightforward administration experience for staff and volunteers, supported by live training.

Roadmap

Events & role-based access

Event publishing, finer-grained staff permissions, and administrative tools planned for continued development.

Do you work with organizations outside Texas?

Yes. Think Digital TX works with organizations throughout the United States. Discovery, development, meetings, and training can be completed remotely.

Will we need extensive training?

Our content tools are intended to be approachable for staff comfortable posting information online. We provide live Zoom training to demonstrate the day-to-day workflow.

Do we have to purchase an all-in-one membership system?

No. The public website is independent of your CRM, invoicing, and membership software. We can help evaluate suitable separate tools if needed.

Can you migrate our current directory?

We can review the format and quality of your existing business data and scope a migration or import. The cost and process depend on the source.
