People ask me why I created Think Digital TX when I already had Hill Country Photography (hill-country-photography.com). The answer is simple. My work has shifted more and more toward website development, SEO, ADA accessibility, technical consulting, and OSHA compliance. At this point, what I do is not just photography anymore, and the Think Digital name fits the direction of the business a lot better than a photography-focused brand.
ADA Accessibility Is Becoming More Important Every Year
Over the last year, we picked up several contracts for technical consulting and ADA related work, and that demand is only going to keep growing. ADA accessibility matters because real people rely on assistive technology to use the internet, things like screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, and other tools that help them see, hear, and understand what is on a website. When a site is not built with accessibility in mind, those users can get blocked out completely. When you improve accessibility, you are not only doing the right thing, you are also opening the door to more customers who can actually reach you, read your content, and contact you without friction.
ADA and SEO Often Improve Together
The interesting part is that ADA accessibility and SEO tend to overlap in a very practical way. Clear page structure, good headings, readable text, proper labels, descriptive links, logical navigation, and fast loading pages are all things that help accessibility, and they also help search engines understand your website. That means when you fix one, you often improve the other at the same time. Instead of treating ADA and SEO like two separate projects, it makes more sense to approach them together, because the improvements reinforce each other and usually lead to a better experience for every visitor, not just a specific group.
Why I Added OSHA Consulting
Once I was already doing technical and ADA consulting, it made sense to bring OSHA consulting into the same shop. In most positions I have held, safety and compliance were always part of the work, even when it was not the headline of the job. My OSHA 30 training gives me a strong foundation for the rules and standards, but the bigger value is the real-world side of it, knowing how to translate the “legal” wording into clear, actionable steps that people can actually follow.
Turning Rules Into Actionable Training
A lot of safety requirements sound overwhelming until you break them down into plain language, practical processes, and training that fits the reality of a small business. That is where many companies get stuck. They know they should improve safety, documentation, and training, but they do not know how to turn that into something attainable. When you put it into the right words, build simple SOPs, and make training realistic, it becomes easier to do consistently.
And at the end of the day, that consistency matters, because following OSHA rules is not just about avoiding problems on paper. It is about making sure everyone goes home at the end of the day and comes back the next day without dealing with pain, complications, or long-term issues caused by a preventable injury that did not look serious at the moment.
A One Stop Shop for Small Businesses
That is the reason Think Digital TX exists. I saw a need for small businesses to have a one stop shop where they can get a strong, modern website, improve visibility through SEO, and make sure the site works for everyone through ADA accessibility. And while we are already looking at how the business operates online, it is the perfect time to also review the basics behind the scenes, things like SOPs, safety practices, and practical compliance steps.
Instead of hiring three different vendors who do not talk to each other, you can work with one partner who understands how the website, the customer experience, and the business operations all connect.
